Project goal:Create an automated tool for calculating tour costs, considering all activities and additional expenses
What was done:
Built a database that includes all activities, hotels, and extra expenses with prices, allowing for historical price tracking. Changes only apply to new SSCs.
Designed a Google Sheets structure where all tour parameters can be inputted, and the final client price is calculated instantly.
Prices are automatically updated based on the activity and either the tour creation or travel date.
Enabled multiple calculations by assigning each sheet in the Google file as a separate calculation.
Automatic recalculations occur whenever any data is modified.
Achievements:
Centralized the company’s service information, cutting down on search time and reducing calculation errors.
Tour cost calculations, including alternatives, are now significantly faster.
This reduced agent response time to client inquiries, improving conversion rates.
The automated SSC also tracks agent proposals, generating performance quality reports.
